Born Darren Bailey Stichtenoth (pronounced 'stick-teh-note), Darren dropped his last name during college, once he began working as an actor. Darren holds a BA in Theatre from Miami University. He also has advanced TV and Film training from the Tony Award -winning regional theatre, Cincinnati's Playhouse In the Park. Having an interest in film acting since he was a child, he joined a campus organization called M.A.F.I.A. (Miami Association of Filmmakers and Independent Actors), created by director/cinematographer A.J. Rickert-Epstein. Darren moved to California in 2008 to pursue a career in acting, both on stage and screen. In early 2010, Darren co-founded Thousand Pounds Action Company with Vonzell Carter and Christopher Clark Cowan. The company has garnered viral success through YouTube, particularly with their Street Fighter and Naruto-based videos. Since that time, in addition to acting, Darren has also been working as a stunt performer and coordinator.
